Addiction
Living with the disease of chemical dependency is a different experience for women than it is for men.
Hope House for Women not only recognizes this, but also helps women understand the effects of addiction and prepare them for the special challenge they will face in recovery.
Hope House for Women welcomes women into a place of ongoing recovery and development that helps them face their addictions with a clear and proactive approach, just as they would any other disease.
Recovery is more than abstaining from drugs, it's mending relationships, improving self-esteem, and renewing enthusiasm for living. It is our mission to expose our residents to the various components of a healthy lifestyle. Through our programs, residents will learn to balance work, rest, relationships, and recreation in a functional, clean and sober manner.
