Hi, my name is Kiersten. I’m a therapist here at MVA. I have been with MVA since 2021 and I started as an intern in my bachelor’s degree internship. I have since gone on to complete my bachelor’s in social work from Eastern Michigan University, and my master’s degree in social work from Michigan State University.
I love being a therapist and having an opportunity to help people. Some of my favorite aspects of my job are that I get to learn from all the people I work with, all the individuals I help provide services too, and I get to do something I am passionate about each day.
Outside of work I enjoy things like reading, watching movies and tv shows, video games and different activities like taking trips, hiking and going to new places. My free time activities are important to me and I can usually be found outside in my garden, reading or spending time with my family and cats.
